Day 4 - Day Hike to Jebel Amlal

Trip Description: Day hike to Jebel Amlal (8,036ft.). Excellent views of the Atlas to the North and West and the Sahara to the South.

So part of the crew decides to hang @ camp, while many of us take off for a full day of hiking to the summit of Jebel Amlal. The trail was rough, rock strewn, and not really great. This is one of our guides, with Christine, and Paul in the back ground looking on. Knowing Paul, he's thinking "That lamb sure is cute, I wonder if he'd taste even better."The view however, @ the top was very nice. Here is (l to r/b to f)) Jeff, Paul, Majeed, Me, Paul, John, Guide, Christine. Not pictured: Tom the guide.

Here I am enjoying a freshly made cheese and tomato sandwich. Atlas mountains in the back ground.

Spent the rest of the day relaxing and a daily chore of doing laundry. Here we are in front of our tent site, with the nice canyon walls in the back ground.
