Silver Peak

Michelle and I take the dogs to scramble up Silver Peak.

Michelle was very popular since she had dog cookies. See how we all gather around? They generated such interest, that I even wanted one.

This photo makes me laugh.

Rainier Snowboarding

Brian and I decide to hike to Camp Muir @ Rainier, and snowboard down.

This was fun, but the snow was really cupped from the melting sun. With 30 lbs of climbing gear (in case we wanted to continue past Camp Muir) it was harder than I thought.

My Pride and Joy....

Usually I come home to a big brown dog tail waving like a flag in the air. Today, I come home to this. If you have "the OTHER kind of pet" you may recognize this object gracefully draped around her. It is a cat door. My dog has figured out that if she crams her head into the closet we call the cat room and pulls really hard, she can pop off the sliding door lock. Then, the feasting begins! Wet cat food, dry cat food, fresh cat poops, what more could a big dog want? As much as her amazing intelligence and ability to play me like a flute would lead me to believe otherwise, she's still a dog.

Boise - Day 9 - Return Drive

So after yesteday's hike and scramble, it's time to leave. A week that quick? Hell, we barely scratched the surface. We get back to Boise and go out to a local Mexican food joint.

I'm pretty sure, my hat is BIGGER.
