Cedar City Utah?

Mrs Dirtbagger and Kur Dog, peering out of the motor coach, aka the Buda Bus, at Cedar City Utah.

So, considering all the places we've been and stayed, good old Cedar City UT KOA comes through with wireless internet access via a company called hotspotzz. 24 hour unlimited access cost 8 bucks. http://www.koakampgrounds.com/where/ut/44125/

Some fun facts about Cedar City:

  • Population: 21K
  • Elevation: 5800 feet
  • Average home cost: 156K
  • Average yearly income: 37K
  • Average January temperature: 41 degrees, July: 89 degrees
  • One psychiatrist and 31 dentists
  • Average number of wives per male resident: 6.7
  • Average number of black people in Cedar City: 1
  • Average number of unwed 12 year old girls: 0

Okay, I made the last three up, but there really is only one psychiatrist.Posted by Hello

Lots of Crap in Quartzsite AZ

Do you think this will make it on PBS's Antiques Road Show? I suspect someone from Sothby's hasn't found this rare metal sculpture just yet. I'm convinced it's worth millions. Posted by Hello

Quartzsite AZ

For a meer, $895.00 dollars (not pesos, we're not that far south) you can have a life size version of the Duke, in your very own yard! The 10 foot horse, well he was $1495.00Posted by Hello

"Camping" is over. Now it's time to unhook the sewer line. I hope I got those connections on tight. Nothing like a turd in your face to really bum out your day. No pun intended. Posted by Hello

Day 12 - Quick Recap from Beaudry RV as of 2/24

So we headed to Tucson, looked @ the trailer. Here is what has happened over the last few days as a result.

  • Rained in Tucson. Rained in trailer. Traded in just purchased Trailer.
  • Purchased 2005 Fleetwood 31 foot Class A motorhome, Terra model.
  • RV was serviced and prepared for delivery.
  • Stayed 3 days here @ the resort in Tucson to shake out the details.
  • Headed to Quartzite tomorrow, then to Lake Meade, then home.

I had purchased a new laptop with the hopes of being able to update on the road.

  • Couldn't get cellular phone to act as a modem.
  • Couldn't get data access @ resort.
  • Had to use "common" computer in lobby, occupied by 65+ year olds who are really slow typists.

More details and photos later.
