Our Last Day of Employment
OK, so it was kinda surreal today. Today was the last day of our employment. So tomorrow we get up, for...uh nothing.
- Mrs. Dirtbagger: "I'm free, I'm free. I've free to be me!"
- Mr. Dirtbagger: "Wow. I don't have a job. Wacky man, wacky."
Wow, I'm already bored. Maybe I'll go find a job.

That's where you can find some of the tunes.
Take care
Thanks for your post. How did you find me?
Wow. I can't even fathom not working. Not that I love it so much. I just can't picture life past, say...forty. I'm not looking forward to 65. I don't have faith that there will be sufficient money in order for me to live comfortably. Ideally, I'd like to croak on the day after my 65th birthday. Then I won't have to worry about retirement savings. Of course, it'd help if I was given knowledge that this would indeed be what's going to happen.
As for finding a job, try a temp agency. Just let them know that you are retired, though. However, I would be that they'd have you hooked up with a job in no time. You'd be surprised how many people don't want to work.
Also, with an agency you can always request jobs that are for one or two days or whatever. So you can work a couple of days out of the week if that's what you're looking for.
